This page is dedicated to showing you how the OverRIDE Safety mobile app is setup and used.
1️⃣ PARENT SETUP
Download the OverRIDE Safety app and sign in
⚙️ This is your control center for everything—alerts, reports, and settings.
Use the account email & password created during purchase
If you forgot your password, use “Forgot Password?” on the login screen
Make sure you enable Notifications to receive important safety alerts
2️⃣ ADD DRIVER PROFILE
Add your child/driver inside the app
🟢 Your vehicle device is already linked —no extra setup required.
Enter basic account information
This will be the phone that is managed while driving
3️⃣ SETUP ON CHILD’S PHONE
Install the app on the driver’s phone and sign in
Use the driver account you just created
Follow the prompts to enable all required settings
🚨 Important:
Every requested permission must be enabled for OverRIDE to work correctly.
– Location access
– Motion/activity access
– Background permissions
✅ The parent will receive a notification once setup is completed correctly.
4️⃣ CUSTOMIZE WHAT GETS LOCKED
Customize your driving rules together
🧠 Decide which apps should:
Be locked while driving
Stay accessible for safety or convenience
💡 Examples of commonly allowed apps:
– Navigation (Maps)
– Music
Apple and Android CarPlay are not affected by OverRIDE. Those safety systems remain available and are encouraged.
📌 All essential safety features—like phone calls— remain available at all times.
5️⃣ ACTIVATE OverRIDE MODE
Plug in your device and take your first drive
Insert the OverRIDE device into your vehicle (if not already installed)
🚗 Start driving
Within seconds:
– The system detects motion
– OverRIDE Mode activates automatically
– Selected apps become inaccessible and locked.
