This page is dedicated to showing you how to install the OverRIDE Safety OBD into your driver’s car.

🧩Plug it in. That’s it.

Your OverRIDE device installs in seconds—no tools, no wiring, no guesswork.
Here is all you have to do!

1️⃣ FIND YOUR OBD PORT

The OBD port is usually located:

– Under the dashboard
– Near the steering wheel
– Above the pedals

📌 In most vehicles, it’s within arm’s reach of the driver’s seat.

⚠️ Can’t find it?
Search online:
“[Your vehicle year, make, model] OBD port location”
Example: “2018 Honda Accord OBD port location”

2️⃣ PLUG IN THE DEVICE
Align the OverRIDE device with the port
Firmly push it in until fully seated

👉 There is only one way it fits—do not force it.

✅ Once plugged in, the device stays in place permanently.

3️⃣ CONFIRM IT’S WORKING

You’ll know your device is installed correctly when:

🟢 You see red indicator lights flashing on the side of the device

🟢 Trip history appears in your app after your first drive

4️⃣ DOUBLE-CHECK IN APP

You can also confirm everything is connected by opening the app:

View Trip History after driving
Check Vehicle Health to see live vehicle data

🔧 If you see vehicle data, your device is fully connected and working.
